Iridocyclitis, also known as anterior uveitis, is the inflammation of the iris and ciliary body inside the eye. It is typically caused by an immune response or an underlying infection. Iridocyclitis can be acute or chronic and can affect one or both eyes.

Symptoms

Treatment
Treatment usually involves the use of topical corticosteroid eye drops to reduce inflammation and manage symptoms. In some cases, systemic medications may be prescribed.
